I have been cutting down on my expenses for a while now, in order to save for important things. One of the things i cut down on is magazines, i already have a very big box of them and i reassured myself that since i already have access to the Internet on my blackberry 24/7, why not read the magazines online and save my five thousand Naira every month. So for a couple of months i have stuck to this deal. You all know i love weddings, so imagine my disappointment when Kim K got married and i couldn't buy the magazine to get all the juicy details. I saw the pictures and details online, and saved my favourite pictures from the event on my phone and laptop, but that wasn't enough for me. I just had to have a copy of the magazine on my laps, in my hands and within easy grasp.
    However, i knew that if i broke this one rule for Kim K, i would break for another and another until the rule stops existing. So i decided to exercise discipline and i didn't, i just consoled myself that all this would be over soon and i would buy all the magazines i want.
So imagine my surprise when i went to visit my friend and he had a copy of Kim K wedding exclusive magazine. I was glancing through it and said i would love to have a copy non-chalantly and he replied that i can take it.
Ha! i couldn't get enough of it, after my morning chores i would pick it up, when i have a break at noon i would glance through it and when I'm waiting for sleep at night i would use it to occupy my mind. After two weeks i was slightly satisfied. My cousin Queen wanted to take it home with her one day during her visit and i discouraged her and persuaded her to read it in my house. The next day i was feeling guilty so i gave it to her. The next couple of days i was busy working and i forgot all about it. I had a break and decided to check on twitter, that was  when i saw Ryan Seacrest tweet about Kim K filing for divorce.
Then next day my cousin came to visit and she tossed the magazine at me and said you can have your nonsense back. Immediately we busted into the thrills of laugh, we laughed and laughed and since then (to the time of this writing) i haven't been able to pick up the magazine to stare at those gorgeous pictures. 
P.S  Sadmuch cuz Kim k just wasted those three Vera Wang dresses.......sighs

White and Black has been around for ages, and its not going any where any time soon. The thing with this color combination is that its  classy and it never fails. Its a classic that never gets old. It exhudes this confidence,and current fashion trends still supports it. Personally,I love it and always look for ways to wear and mix it up. Also I notice it goes with all type of skin tone. MY ULTIMATE GUILTY PLEASURE

I absolutely have so many guilty pleasures…….although I really don’t understand what “guilty” has to do with anything….duh!  They are the things I love to do, always want to do, can’t wait to do……so what should I call the things I really would love to do, but haven’t been able to do……really dunno. Em back to my guilty pleasures, Movies! Any day anytime I’m always up for a good movie, I prefer watching it alone because I talk a lot when I watch it with friends, or strangers. I don’t mind the exception of the cinema sha. When I am been asked who my role model in life is, I hesitate for a while and that’s because I really don’t have any, they tend to break your heart at the end of the day, and that is cause they are human, so my role models are the characters I watch in movies, I learn one or two things from them, and they don’t have the ability to break my heart because they are not real, they are characters. 
                Music, now that just lift my spirit. I’m in a different world altogether, I have weird taste in music and I’m an absolute flirt when it come to the genre of the songs.
                                           
Magazines! Well em…….it was becoming  too expensive for me to keep up with considering the fact that I’m unemployed. Just lounging and flipping through the magazine just does wonders to my mind.
                                        
Cheeseballs! I can never get tired of cheeseball and I can eat over fifty in a day, I remember vividly when I was little, I use to say that I would own a cheeseball manufacturing industry so I wouldn’t have to buy….lol.

Nail Polish! I’m obsessed with having them, I love to change my nail color every week, and most times I do it myself, other times a professional does it for me. Clothes! But then I think most ladies and dudes are crazy about clothes too.
                                                                  
Reality TV! Well what can I do, it just tickles me when I watch ‘em. You should see the expression on my face when I’m watching one, flickers of emotion rolls on them, disgust, a grin, a smile, some seriously laugh, sadness, mad, rolling my eye balls, and then I ask myself, why bother with this ish, but tomorrow I find myself watching it again.

Zuma! This game has cast a spell on me, really, because I can seem to figure out why I’m compelled to play the game almost every day in my free time, or maybe because I haven’t gotten to the final level yet.

Novels! I fell in love with reading novel since my JSS 2 and since then I have been hooked, what could be better than feeding your imagination with wonderfully stories, em….not always wonderful, some are quiet sad, and Danielle Steel sometimes really put the sad in sad novels.
                                                                    
Walking around my room naked!  The keyword been my room. I love doing that, I have no reason for doing that, but for someone that loves clothes I’m in a hurry to peel them off once I get home. I could continue but I choose to stop here, as for my ultimate guilty pleasure I don’t have an ultimate, I love em’ all.

I was going through my old movies collection,to see which movies i can watch again, i came across PRETTY LITTLE LIAR and i remembered the movie, it kinda ticked me off, especially because of the way the Allison girl was controlling the lives of her friends,even in death,i just couldn't reconcile with the fact that any human would allow a fellow human manipulate them like that, well i finally got over my irritation and settled to watch the movie and enjoy it, the illicit affair one, Aria, had with her English teacher, the stolen kisses another, Spencer, got from her annoying sister's boyfriend, the baff-ups Hanna, was sampling and the state of confusion Emily found herself in with her love life. So i am done with season 1, and hope to lay my hands on season 2.

Maxi dresses

                     Maxi dresses are the ish right now,and i am loving it! its refreshing especially on lazy days when the mood is not there for serious dressing.and this is just the season to rock it!

you can pair it with a big bag,or a small purse. flats slippers or wedge,and minimal accessories.

Gist! Gist! Gist!

                     Its been a while i know,and i am sorry, especially to you hon, lol, i have no excuse other than the fact that i am a lazy damsel. So whats going on out there,well a lot, i can hardly keep up. Our very own Nike Oshinowo has her own perfume, her advert campaign is all over the web, and it will hit the stores from June 1st 2011. The new fragrance ÀŞÀBÍ is said to be as a  “a magical oriental fragrance with chocolate, candid orange and a mandarin scent that gives the perfume an elegant but spirited character with an undertone of soft woods and warm balsamic resin.“  Well, isn't that grand, but what i am excited about most is the price, a 50ml bottle goes for 5000 Naira, really affordable, i am just happy that she didn't go over board with the price.

                  Well, i missed one of my best friends birthday, and i am not so happy about that, i wish the flight ticket from Calabar to Abuja would be cheap, well that's not all, Calabar airport has been shut down for renovation till July, so i would have had to go all the way to Port-Harcourt, or Uyo just to go to Abuja, and well also em.....em..... it was a school day, so Ekaba, i am sorry for missing your birthday, and i am also sorry because i was not on blackberry messenger (bbm) that day, at least i would have felt a little connected to you, because talking on the phone wasn't really enough, and you came all the way for mine, and got me a lovely cake, i owe you one, (rant rant rant!!! *breathes* )so i dedicate this little spot to you. Happy belated birthday darling. mmmmwah.

             Ituen Basi has launched her Ankara accessories line, and well its affordable and i also heard its doing good in the market, i love Ituen Basi, seriously, i even wore her dress at a fashion show last year, but i really don't get this accessories, really, i don't think i would want some in my collection, the ones i have seen look dull and a lifeless, i dunno but maybe if it were in bright colors like pink,purple, etc then maybe, i may fall in love. season of the witch and Fashion

  

                   

I remember vividly asking God that this year 2011,I want to be in the best of health. No sickness,pain,etc. Well its April and I'm already sick....I pride myself in being God's favorite,so I'm kinda sad about this,but I trust him enough to know that everything will be okay. So here I am down with malaria and typhoid,and to worsen it the nail on my big toe is infected and have to be pulled off. Yuck!
I really do not know what is going on out there anymore, because I have decided to substitute magazines for flat pumps shoes and I can't afford both right now. Shoes first! and browsing magazines online is not the same thing as flipping through those glorious and colorful pages. E entertainment is seriously boring me to death,award season is over and their reaity shows either sucks,or the repetition of it annoys the hell outta you.
So all I do is watch movies,and since I'm in Calabar,(no cinema)I get to watch the movies three months after the release date,yesterday i watched Nicolas Cage in season of the witch,I heard its a crappy movie but I enjoyed it all the way,especially at the beginning where those three witch were hung and drown,now that got my attention. Okay enough about that because trust me I didn't see any fashion related stuff in that movie,I wondered how they survived those days,wearing gray,brown and black rags everyday,don't get me wrong I'm not saying those colors are not cool,but it sure will suck to wear them everyday.
Well it sure helped me to go back to my sketching pad and sketch lovely and classy dress,and I dressed them up in my imaginations and they looked yummy.

Songs,Gosh ! The list is endless,now I'm loving Jessie J ft BOB 's Price tag. I wonder what's next.
Without music this world will be empty,it is a great form of art,and a great way to express ur
Feelings and thoughts. Music is as important as the air we breath and water we drink. Music is life.

Grammy Award

          Well i didn't watch the Grammy award because well emmmmm i didn't subscribe for the full bouquet for my Dstv,and well i didn't want to go to my friend's house cus well i needed to sleep, anyway the next day Esther Meme filled me in on it, i guess i didn't miss much. viewing the pictures now i cant help but wonder what is going on in fashion.Well before i start ranting about what i observed i just want to state that these are my thoughts and opinion and you don't have to agree with everything i say. Rihanna in jean Paul Gaultier, can i start off by saying WTF, really is that a dress or something made out of my grandma old curtains, she was totally naked underneath it,and with the red hair she looked awful. Some people say its couture,i say its crap,and all that nakedness is just unnecessary.

             Katy Perry in Giorgio Armani, she looked like she wore a bling bra and then tied a long wrapper on her stomach, seriously and the angel wings at the back was just insane,and that is not all, the wrapper had a long train,whats the worst that could happen from here,really!

                                   Well we all know Nicki Minaj, but wasn't this whole leopard thing just over the top. I mean the hair is just yuck! and the Aladdin thing going on there wasn't so cool at all. I'm used to seeing her in bright colors and well this color was a little bit too dull for her.

                                 The whole Beiber fever is dying down, thank God cus i didn't understand it in the first place. I guess Justin wanted to look different,but this was just screaming "I'M TRYING TOO HARD." It wasn't tailored well,he looked shabby,the color choice was too pale for his skin  and the whole sneakers on the red carpet needs to stop,really,we know you are just 16 blah blah blah,but there are times you just have to suck up and dress like a young adult for once.

                                         Our very own Omotola was present at the Grammy,really expected her to emmmmmm look good(OK  i lied). well her dress was beautiful,but here is the catch, it wasn't beautiful on her. Her bra was showing,the dress was too tight,her stomach was bulging out,her hands were flabby.....really i could go on and on. she could have done better,probably wore a dress that would make her look beautiful like a mother of four,not like a confused single girl going to the club....Oops sorry o,make some people no kill me sha. its just my opinion.

                                            

Law Student dey try sha

       meeeeeen......its  not an easy thing o. I was really excited (okay that's a lie) when i was about to start my IT  for just two months,the first day i got to learn the rules and regulations and amongst them was a dress code, I'm to wear white and black everyday for the next two months, jeeeeeeeez! I wasn't so Happy about this news,and one of the reasons is because my wardrope lacks black and white clothes, well lets say i have a lot of pink,purple,red etc, a really hawt LBD that i sure cant wear to work, and i  didn't plan to shop for white and black this year,too selfish to do that(i haff oda things to use my money for,besides its just for two months shey). So i search well into my stuffs, and i found two cute black skirts,two white shirts,a black sleeveless sweater(which i love so much),a monkey jacket(hehe) and a cute white top with mickey mouse on it. So i wore what i had,although i miss wearing my other clothes and being restricted,and well it was okay, i took some random pictures......lets see

Then one fateful Friday i was allowed to wear what i wanted,boy was i happy,i tittled that Friday ,pink Friday

 well its been fun anyways,cant wait to be done though.......mmmmwah
